（水美）：やっぱり轟さんとご一緒させて頂けるこの光栄な機会をこのタイミングで頂けて本当に光栄だなと毎日お稽古場にいるんですけども。
（桜咲）：お稽古場で轟さんと専科の英真さんもご出演して頂いて、お２人のお芝居をお稽古場で間近で見れる…
（和海）：台詞の間とかが全然違うなっていうのはすごく感じますね。
（水美）：今回お芝居の中でずっと先生、先生って慕っている役なんですけど、本当に心から尊敬している轟さんという方に役として、尊敬できる役をさせて頂けて本当にしあわせだなって思いながらお稽古してるんですけど。
（桜咲）：意を決して戦場に行きたいって言う場面とか…
（水美）：先生のためにもアメリカのためにもっていう強い信念を持った人だなと言いますか…実在した人物なので、本当に戦場に行かれたエルマーさんのためにも自分も頑張るって言ったらおかしいですけど…天国にいらっしゃるエルマーさんに失礼にならないように演じたいなって。
（亜蓮）：轟さんと仙名さんと３人でお芝居をさせて頂けることがあって、この間までは本当に難しくて、自分が役になりきって台詞が出てくるっていうまでのプロセスが本当に難しくて。でもお芝居していく中で轟さんにも小さい表情とかももっと見るようにして、もっとどんどん掴んでいけばもっと変わってくるんじゃない？とかおっしゃって頂いたりして、一緒にお芝居ができて本当にこんな機会が頂けて、本当に幸せです。
（聖乃）：初めて少年役をさせて頂くので、動き方とか声の出し方がすごい難しいのですが、轟さんからももっと素直にまっすぐ演じたらいいよとアドバイスを頂いて、最近すごい子供になるのがすごい楽しくて。

（桜咲）：少年時代の時にマイティーと先生はきっとなるよって絡んでて、また大人になってボビーと絡みがあるじゃない？あそこが違うんだけども繋がっていくと…ね、ストーリーにもっともっと深みが出るというか。
（水美）：６歳エルマーとは離れてるんですけど、リンカーンさんとメアリーさんがお仕事で忙しい時はエルマーが一緒に過ごしたりとか。本当に共に過ごしたって感じで、だからこそ戦場に行くってリンカーンさんには意を決して言ったものの、会いたくなくて…でも戦争に行く前に会っちゃって、一番黙って行きたかった人に会ってしまうという自分との葛藤といいますか…最後の絡みなのでそこをどう演じようかなっていうのは、まだ今も試行錯誤中なんですけど。
あとはその前のボビーとの幼少時代は、ほっこりした場面といいますか、そこらへんをどう…きっとここが（聖乃と自分）仲良ければ良いほど亜蓮のボビーになった時に、お客様が辛くなると思うので。
（聖乃）：役作りも一緒に考えてくださって、それでエルマーとのやり取りももっと深くできたらなと思っていて。毎回本当に優しく接してくださるので…素にならないように…
（亜蓮）：（聖乃演じる）ボビーの幼少時代から10年後くらいの21歳を演じてるんですけど、２幕で始め出ないで、いきなり大人になったボビーとして出て、かつその場でエルマーと会うので、ここ（聖乃と水美）の仲の深さ、絆をちゃんと自分も同じぐらい持って、あまり台詞も交わさない中で同じような絆をお客様にも感じて頂けるように、作っていくのが楽しいけどすごい複雑ですごく難しくて。素直なボビーでありながらも、色々なことがあった中で育ってきて、自分の中でもそれと戦ってるし、でもそれを見せないようにするけどやっぱりお客様にはそれを伝えたいから、それをどう見せるかが本当に難しい…
公演に向けての見どころや抱負など
（聖乃）：色んな場面に出ているのですが、その場面場面で違う色を出せるように。そしてボビーの少年時代では子供らしく明るく元気に頑張りたいと思います。
（亜蓮）：１幕は黒人を演じていて、２幕では青年になったボビーを演じるので、１幕の黒人も本当に人数が少ない中で虐げられた黒人を演じていかないといけないので、そこもすごく見どころだし、ポトマックの戦場が娘役の方が男役に本当になって銃を本当にかっこよく構えていたりされるので、そこを是非見て頂きたいなっていうのと、ボビーとしてはやはりリンカーンさんとメアリーさんと、エルマーが戦場に行ってそれに対する反抗だったり自分の中での複雑な感情が交ざって、自分も戦場に行くと意を決するそのシーンをボビーの目線として見て頂きたいなと思います。
（水美）：私はもうただひたすら轟さんに、リンカーンさんについていきたいですし、後は見どころと言いますか、ポトマック…南北戦争での今も尚名前が残っていらっしゃる方なので、その名前に傷を付けないように立派に生涯を捧げたいなと思います。あとは今回また轟さんを中心にした花組の力と言いますかを、見て頂けたらいいなと思います。
（桜咲）：黒人の女性アンナを演じさせて頂くんですけども、やっぱりリンカーンの心を動かした黒人奴隷っていう原点の部分になりますので、魂こめて演じたいと思いますし、今回初めてKAAT神奈川芸術劇場の方にも行かせて頂くことができて、轟さんがおっしゃってたんですけども、ずっと宝塚に来て欲しいって言ってくださっていたみたいで…それがやっぱり100周年を経て今回初めて轟さんと花組が出演出来るっていうことを誇りに思いますので、KAATの方でも沢山のお客様に楽しんで頂けるように頑張りたいと思います。
（和海）：ポーク大統領という私も実在する人物なんですけども、轟さんとそして英真さんとお芝居をさせて頂いていて、本当にすごく勉強になることばかりですし、轟さんに上から物を申しておりますし、最初本読みを終えて立ち稽古を初めてして、その次の日に轟さんから上の立場の役作りで年も上の人を演じる声をちゃんと作ってきてたねっていう風に褒めて頂いて、それをすごく嬉しく、それで更に頑張ろうという気にもなりましたし、相手の間と自分の感情とを入り混ぜて、今はまだ稽古中ですが、どんどんどん進化させて舞台で皆様にお届けできたらと思います。
…聖乃くん、キター！！！100期生！！！いやあほぼ仕上がったビジュアルで声質いいじゃないですかー！！！実在の人物を演じるのは覚悟が必要ですね…
