今回のテーマは『宝塚音楽学校』
宝塚音楽学校は宝塚歌劇の出演者を養成するための学校で、宝塚歌劇団の全ての団員はこの宝塚音楽学校の卒業生。
宝塚歌劇団と宝塚音楽学校の前身は1913年7月15日に少女16名で作られた宝塚唱歌隊。
同年に4人を加えて宝塚少女歌劇養成会と改称。
1919年宝塚音楽歌劇学校とし、校長に小林一三が就任。
1939年その宝塚音楽歌劇学校が、宝塚少女歌劇団と宝塚音楽舞踊学校に分けられ、1946年に宝塚音楽舞踊学校→宝塚音楽学校に改称し、予科１年制となる。
1957年に現在と同様の予科１年本科１年の２年制に。

2年間の在学中は、音楽・舞踊・演劇を学ぶだけでなく、校訓の『清く 正しく 美しく』に基づき、舞台人としての心得や礼儀作法を身につけていく。
毎年２月に２年間の集大成である本科生による文化祭と呼ばれる卒業公演がある。
この後、本科生は宝塚音楽学校を卒業、宝塚歌劇団の一員となり、舞台人としての一歩を踏み出していく。
先日101期生の卒業式の様子がやってましたが、やはり２年間という短い間でもたくさんのことを学んだんだろうな･･･と感慨深かったです。
