Ｑ作品のコンセプトについて
まずショー全体が凰稀さんをフェニックスに見立てて、フェニックスがテーマということで、情熱的でちょっと主題歌についてはラテンぽいという感じを入れて、男役をかっこよく見えるようにということで、そういうテイストを入れた。後は、参考にしてもらえたらなということで、郷ひろみさんのＣＤをいくるかお借りして、結構ラテンの曲をカバーして歌っていらっしゃったりするので、パンチの効いた情熱的な感じとちょっと現代的な感じを入れたいということで、いくつかお借りして参考にさせて頂いた。
Ｑ気をつけた点は？
あんまりゴチャゴチャしないようにできるだけシンプルに、歌詞に沿って素直に書いて。そしたらそれを凰稀さんがすごく自分の想いを入れやすいように、伸び伸び歌えるようにと考えて作った。ショー全体としても最後の集大成ということで、ともすれば詰め込みたくなっちゃうが、できるだけシンプルに凰稀さんの、今の宙組の魅力を見せるっていうことで、みんなが楽しんで伸び伸びできるようにということをまず考えて作った・

Ｑ主題歌について
イメージの歌詞を頂いたが、いつも大体パっと見て「このへんがサビかな？」というのを藤井先生とお話して決めるが、「ここがサビかな？」っていうところのフレーズが『孤独だっていいじゃない』というフレーズで、なかなかインパクトがあってすごい歌詞だなと思って、これをどうしようかというところからとっかかって、考えていった。わりといつもは、サビにあたる部分というのはできるだけ印象的で覚えやすくと感じるので、あまり早いフレーズや細かいフレーズを入れないようにとなるべく心がけているが、その時思いついたのが結構聞いて頂いたら分かると思うが、わりと早いフレーズで思いついた。「これ大丈夫かな？早すぎてあっという間に終っちゃうんじゃないか。残るかな？」というのは冒険であったが、わりと生徒の皆さんに歌ってもらったら、結構強烈で皆さんにもすごくサビの『孤独だっていいじゃない』が残るっていうふうに言っていただいて、すごくうれしかった。
Ｑ「愛の伝説」の場面について
1番頭の主題歌の前のまあ君とかみりおんちゃんと緒月さんの３人の場面が、神様でスタートするということで、やはりフェニックスは鳳凰というオリエンタルなイメージもあるので、オリエンタルな衣装で始めたいということで、ちょっと不思議な感じから始まってそれがラテンに変わるという変化を大事にして作ったのがプロローグ。
Ｑ「伝説の宝鳥」の場面について
すごく私も考えていて悩みもしたが、すごく楽しかったのが、凰稀さんが早替りが早いというか特技で、それを生かしたいということで上演時間の中でその場面の持ち時間があって、その中でどうやって七変化するかというのを打ち合わせをして悩みながら最低限の着替え時間で7回替わるというのを、悩みながらもできるだけスピーディーになおかつコミカルにというのを、他の緒月さんやみりおんちゃんとかの味も大事にしつつ、それを考えていくのがすごく楽しかった。

『孤独だっていいじゃな～い』素晴らしいですね！歌詞のインパクトも曲も振付も衣装もプロローグにぴったりの迫力です。青木先生お若いのに良い仕事するなあといつも思っていました。主題歌は郷ひろみさんの曲を参考にしたのは初耳でした。確かにギラギラした感じありますね！
