宝塚歌劇団がこのように栄えある菊田一夫演劇賞の大賞を頂きましたこと、本当に心より嬉しく思っております。
宝塚歌劇団は昨年100周年を迎えました。本当に多くの方々に祝っていただき、また多くのお客様が劇場に足を運んでいただきました。宝塚大劇場、東京宝塚劇場合わせまして観客動員が100％を超えまして本当にこれはありがたく思っております。
ただ、100年の間宝塚歌劇が順風満帆だったわけではございません。その中で本当に時代時代で宝塚歌劇を必死に支えていただいたお客様、宝塚歌劇に携わっていただいた多くの方々のおかげだと思っております。
我々はその方々に感謝し、その思いを受け継ぎ、そして次代にその思いを伝えていかなければいけないと思っております。101周年目の今年からも本当に老若男女全てのお客様に楽しんで頂ける舞台を作っていきたいと思いますので、これからも生徒力、作品力を含めました宝塚歌劇の総合力をますます高めていきたいと思っております。
この受賞を契機に、励みにいたしましてこれからも頑張ってまいりたいと思っておりますので、これからの宝塚歌劇、多いに期待して頂ければと思っております。本日は本当にありがとうございました。
